The God of Small Things is now one of my favorite books. I love the author's beautiful writing, and how she leads you into other parts of the plot ahead of time. I also really like how the author brilliantly makes you think about big themes and metaphors, for example, "Like polishing firewood" (43). I am really interested in the story and what will happen next, and look forward to reading more of Roy's lovely writing.

I agree with lily, i like how the author jups around with writing the story. It makes it so you have to keep attention to the reading and focus. I think lily described this book really nicely!
Great Job Lily
Same! At first, it was hard to get through and really confusing, but once you hit around page 30, it's really smooth transitions and when the book is easier to comprehend you can really start to get into the story and get to know the characters.
