There are so many things that we dont understand about Rahel and Estha. I was wondering if this was because Roy does not give us enough information, or if it was because we cant relate to them. They seem to make many strange choices and realizations but i cant seem to understand why?

We can relate to them in some ways and not in others because they are twins and had experiences we can't relate to. their relationship is not like other people. For example, they wake up and express to each other that they had the same dream. While their walking around they realize that think the same thing. I also think that we can't understand this relationship because Roy does not give enough information intensionally. She leaves things blank so that the reader can have an open mind about the twins. With the flash back and flash forward the reader has to put it all together. While I read, some things I forget about and then they come back together later.
