Arundhati Roy uses Analepsis and Prolepsis in this book. I found a particular example of Prolepsis in the book. On page 181, there is a paragraph tells readers that somehthing terrible thing will happen to Velutha. Velutha let children paint his nails with red Cutex and when polices bit him up, they laughed at it at the end of the book.
When I first read this part of the book, I did not focus on to this part. However, after I know that what happened th Velutha I remind the part what Arundhati Roy foretell the tragedy of Velutha.

Yes, I've actually noticed that a few times, and every time, i have a flashback to another part when she mentions the same thing, and you deem it insignificant, and then, later on it comes back with more meaning than before. I really like writing style.
